Agenda for community nursing conference revealed

Community nurses across the UK are gearing up to attend an online conference which is set to take place next month.

The Community Nursing Now National Conference will take place virtually on Friday, September 16 between 1pm and 5.05pm.

During the event, there will be a focus on safe insulin adjustment, with Nurse Consultant Debbie Hicks lined up to lead a session.

The online conference will also address other key community nursing topics, such as wound care, palliative care and the digital nursing national update.

Event manager Emily Mayhew said: “The calibre of speakers that we will have at our inaugural conference is absolutely astounding.

“We’re so proud to be bringing together some of the UK’s most respected figures in nursing to share their expertise and real-world learning with our audience.”

She added: “This event is a fantastic opportunity for community and district nurses from across the UK to learn about examples of best practice and the latest developments in the world of nursing.”

The conference will also feature a symposium for healthcare professionals only, which has been developed, organised and funded by event sponsors Novo Nordisk.

Novo Nordisk has provided sponsorship to the Community Nursing Now Conference 2022 to cover the development costs of project administration and management.

Novo Nordisk has had no influence over the creation, development or content of the Community Nursing Now Conference 2022 and full control remains the full responsibility of Community Nursing Now network.
