Registration open for King’s Charcot Foot Reconstruction Symposium 2022

A renowned diabetic foot clinic is inviting healthcare professionals with an interest in multidisciplinary diabetic foot care to attend its annual symposium later this year.

The King’s Diabetic Foot Clinic has opened registration for its forthcoming meeting, which is set to discuss modern diagnosis of Charcot Foot.

Entitled ‘The Multidisciplinary and Surgical Reconstruction of the Charcot Foot: 8th Annual Symposium’, the two-day event will be delivered by an expert international faculty on Friday, June 24, and Saturday, June 25, at the Fetal Medicine Research Institute in London.

The globally renowned faculty members will take the delegates through the well-established and emerging treatment methods by hosting didactic lectures, interactive presentations, and case discussions.

Other topics set to be covered during the symposium include podiatric management, treatment of infection, peripheral arterial disease and complex midfoot and hindfoot reconstruction.

Professor Mike Edmonds, Consultant Physician at King’s College Hospital, and Professor Venu Kavarthapu, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital, are directing the prestigious event.

Surgeons, physicians, podiatrists, orthotists, and other allied healthcare professionals are eligible to attend the symposium.

Registered delegates will have the opportunity to attend every session, organisers have announced.

In addition, attendees will be awarded 12 CPD points from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
